About the team

Danielle and Nicola met in Sept 2018 when they both decided to study Landscape Architecture at Masters level at the University of Sheffield.

They both enjoy all aspects of gardening and were honoured to have presented a co-design at Chatsworth Flower Show for 2019.

Danielle Carlson

Landscape Designer en Pharis Design.

Danielle is from Chicago and qualified at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and The University of Sheffield. She has also worked at several design build companies in the US and drought-tolerant planting design is a key interest.


Nicola Stevens

Growth & Economic Development Officer at Nottinghamshire County Council

Nicola is from Leicester, qualified at The University of Sheffield and now lives in Lincolnshire. She has extensive experience of social policy working for local and central government in Nottinghamshire and London and is interested in the design of inclusive public landscape.
